On November 20, 2020, ClassiPress 4.2.4 was released. This release is patching a few bugs and introduces some filters for third party developers.
Upgrade Information
Use the AppThemes Updater Plugin to automatically update the theme. Under “Appearance” => “Themes”, you’ll see an upgrade link next to ClassiPress. If you don’t, check back later. The AppThemes upgrade check API runs twice a day. It’s important to note that using this auto updater will overwrite any custom coding done to the theme. Customers who have made theme code changes will need to manually upgrade instead.
If you prefer the old fashion way or have made core theme modifications (which is not recommended), visit AppThemes to download the full version.
The translation template file (classipress.pot) has been changed. Please update your translations if you use them.
Fixes:
- Don’t display “0 Comments” in the listing header.
- Fixed issue with Filtering expired ads by author from backend.
- Removed unused Customizer option “Display Site Title and Tagline”.
- Fixed styles for unordered lists for text area custom fields.
- Fixed issue with custom color scheme for hollow buttons.
- Use rich editor for textarea fields in the Listing Details meta box.
- Display Edit Ad button on the single ad for non-admin users.

- Use cp_price field as priceRange parameter in LocalBusiness structured data scheme.
- Added action hook ‘cp_dashboard_listing_expanded_row’ on the listing dashboard.
- Allow filtering fields in metaboxes.
